Mudede is quoted as saying that the old metal identity cards will not be accepted for voting as they cannot be read by a biometric machine. He urged those with old metal ids to replace them with the machine readable identity cards. He also announced that mobile registration exercise which kicks off next on 4 September. The exercise will last until the 30th of November 2017.
