State radio, ZBC Radio has reported that President Robert Mugabe and First Lady Grace Mugabe arrived from South Africa in the early hours of Sunday morning.

This seems to conclude a week of frenzied speculation on whether Grace Mugabe was going to answer for her alleged assault of South African model Gabriella Engels using an extension cord at a Sandton hotel, on the previous Sunday.  At one point South African Minister of Police Fikile Mbalula said there was a red alert at all of South Africa’s borders to prevent Grace from leaving until the matter was resolved. However, later reports indicated that the South African government was going to grant Grace Mugabe diplomatic immunity for her alleged assault.
