Statistics for 2015 released by the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council (ZNFPC) have shown that Mashonaland Central Province has the highest number of teenage pregnancies. The statics also showed that rural teenagers were more vulnerable compared to their urban counterparts.

Below are the provinces in order from highest to lowest as presented by ZNFPC executive director Dr Munyaradzi Murwira at a family planning symposium held in Harare recently to celebrate the World Population Day:
