Luminista Dumbisa Mushekwi estranged wife to Warriors striker Nyasha Mushekwi has filed for divorce at the High Court. She wants to be granted custody of the couple’s single child and is demanding $3 500 per month as maintenance. $2 500 will be for the support of the child, while $1000 will be spousal support. She also wants all property arising out of the marriage to be shared equally.

The two were married in 2011, but have been living apart after becoming estranged. In her court papers filed by her lawyers, Venturas and Samukange Legal Practitioners, Luminista says

> The parties have constant disagreements, which render marriage life insupportable. The parties have lived separately since 2015 and have not shared the matrimonial bed since then. There are absolutely no prospects of reconciliation between the parties.
