A project of this magnitude involves a lot of complex processes that cannot be completed overnight. > For example, some of the processes involve the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, an institution with its own way of doing things. We also need to open bank accounts at the same time giving ear to our financial advisors on the proper route to take. > It is almost a year since the government entered into an agreement with a Chinese contractor to dualise the highway on a 25-year Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) model.
