*Tobacco farmers threaten to boycott selling their crop over 10 percent tax* *Follow Pindula on WhatsApp for daily new updates* https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Va84dngJP21B2nWeyM3v?sd Tobacco farmers have warned the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) that they will stop selling their crop if the TIMB sanctions the Zimra directive to withhold 10 percent tax. The tax will be withheld from farmers without a valid tax clearance certificate. The farmers are arguing that the 10 percent tax should be shelved as it goes against the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s 5 percent export incentive. So far the TIMB is yet to implement Zimra’s directive as there are real concerns that the farmers may carry out their threat to boycott selling their tobacco crop. ---------- itel A70 256GB $99USD WhatsApp: https://wa.me/+263715068543 Calls: 0772464000 ---------- More: ZBC Image Credit: Haru Mutasa _If you found this article useful_ *Please support Pindula by forwarding to friends and groups*
