She said that the war veterans had to comply with the provisions of the Public Order and Safety Act (POSA) before they are granted permission. The applicant has to comply with the law as enshrined in the Public Order and Safety Act (POSA) Chapter 11:17. Any gathering without compliance to the provisions of the law will be deemed unlawful. ZNLWA spokesperson Mr Douglas Mahiya was quoted yesterday by the NewsDay saying that police had given them the green light to conduct their meeting in Harare where Zanu PF and Government officials were expected to attend.
