Speaking to HMetro, Marygold Mutemasango, revealed why she stormed Sulumani Chimbetu’s wedding. She said that she wanted to serve him with court papers and that journalists exaggerated the incident saying that she did not even leave her cousin’s car.

One of my cousins was the one who went to speak to security and the security guys started acting all crazy and unnecessarily drew people’s attention. I am not a violent person and I did not go to his wedding to cause a scene but I just wonder why he failed to invite his children to his wedding. Any reasonable person would have invited his children to his own wedding.

She also said she is still Sulumani Chimbetu‘s wife because he is still to give her a  token of divorce or gupuro as per tradition so that she can be free to move on and get married if need be.
