WATCH: Zimbabwe's Health Workers Strike Over Salaries

Zimbabwe’s health workers Monday took it to the streets to protest over poor salaries and working conditions. They gave the government notice to down tools last week. In a notice of incapacitation and withdrawal of service seen by Pindula News, the workers who are currently paid in the local currency have repeated their call to be paid in United States Dollars (USD). The Zimbabwe dollar has been losing value since its reintroduction in 2019. Watch the video below for more:

Pakaipa government is not concerned about the welfare of it's workers let alone citizens they are focusing on campaigning projects leaving social issues , health , education and agriculture not being adquately financed

Today nurses have downed their tools of trade and are matching in the streets for a cause. Their stomachs are empty. They have nothing to feed themselves with. They have nothing to feed their families with. There are no drugs and medicines in hospital pharmacies. Most of them have been driven to overseas countries to seek greener pastures. They have been crying for us$ salaries because rtgs are currently worthless. They buy nothing. I sympathize with nurses. Professor Ncube is misleading government with wrong and unworkable policies.

Guns and injections don't act the same way. lt was not a wise decision to have Jenerari as minister of health. probably the idea was to indicate to Zimbabweans that he is not shrewd as hewasthoughtto be
