Vote For MDC-T / ZANU PF In By-elections, EFF Leader Tells Supporters
The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Zimbabwe party, Innocent Ndibali, called on his supporters to vote for either the MDC-T led by Douglas Mwonzora or ZANU PF in the Saturday by-elections.
The United Kingdom-based Ndibali said the two parties share the same ideology on issues of land reform and the economic empowerment of black people.
Ndibali urged Zimbabweans not to vote for Nelson Chamisa’s Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) saying the party invited sanctions on the country. He said:
As EFF Zimbabwe, we are encouraging our members to vote for (Douglas) Mwonzora’s MDC Alliance or ZANU PF.
The two parties clearly share the same ideology with us on the issue of land and economic freedom.

There are no human rights without land and political freedom without economic freedom is futile.
There is no way we can support a political party like CCC which invited sanctions for this country.
As a black businessman, my business has been adversely affected by these sanctions.
These sanctions are an impediment to black advancement.
On Saturday, I am appealing to all Zimbabweans to defend their heritage by voting for parties that stand for black people. If we do that, then we are good on March 26.
I know by declaring our allegiance to the two parties, we are going to get a lot of backlashes but we do not care.
By-elections will be held this Saturday, 26 March 2022 in 28 National Assembly constituencies and more than 100 council wards.
