UK Parliament Demand Action On Chiwenga's "Violent Incitement"

UK Parliament Demand Action On Chiwenga's

The United Kingdom parliament has called on President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government to bring ZANU PF activists accused of killing Citizens’ Coalition for Change (CCC) supporter Mboneni Ncube to justice.

Ncube was assaulted by sharp objects at a CCC rally in Kwwekwe by suspected ZANU PF youths two weeks ago.

Fielding questions in the house of the Lords on Tuesday, Commonwealth minister Earl of Courtown said the UK remained concerned about the political situation in Zimbabwe.

He was responding to a question by the spokesperson on Climate Emergency and Energy Co-Chair All-Party Parliamentary Group for Zimbabwe Lord Oates.

Is the Minister aware that, at a ZANU-PF rally on 26 February, Vice President Chiwenga said to the opposition CCC, ‘you see how we crush lice… You put it in a flat stone then flatten it to the extent that even flies will not make a meal out of it. That is what we are going to do to CCC’.

The following day, a CCC rally was attacked with iron bars, machetes and spears. One opposition supporter was killed and many more were hospitalised.

Will the government condemn the Vice President’s violent incitement and work with the international community to hold the Zimbabwean government accountable for the safety and security of all Zimbabweans, who should have the right to freely elect their leaders without fear of violence or intimidation?

In response, minister Courtown urged President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government to ensure all political parties are allowed to operate and campaign without harassment.

He urged the police to fully investigate any acts of political violence and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Nothing on the planet Earth only have merits it also does have demerits. In your conclusion you have to compare the weights of the merits versus the demarits then compare. Surely the difference is your correct answer to the methematical equation.

If your neighbour overhears you threatening to crush your wife and kids like lice, should he keep quiet, Considering also that one of your kids (not so coincidentally ) dies the next morning?

Political science is a requirement to politicians,Chiwenga is not a politician though he pretends ,NB there is a difference between military men and politicians kkkk thus Chiwenga is addressing crowds which need a political speech not a military command

Machiavelli 3 months ago

I beg to differ @Jerah. Political science is not a prerequisite for entry into politics. However one's background determines the solutions one has to political issues. I will give examples.

Jonathan Moyo aka Jonso, has a political science background and his history echoes this - His Machiavellian principles (The end justifies the means). He started off (while as a lecturer at UZ,) very critical of ZANU and government. Then he somersaulted, joined ZANU and became a Minister under Mugabe. Fell out of favour and went into exile (worked for the Ford Foundation in RSA & Kenya), and once again became a ZANU critic. He stole some money there and was about to be prosecuted and made another somersault- came back to be sheltered by the same ZANU. Fell out of favour and then became critic-in-chief, as a fiery critic aligning himself with Tsvangirai and MDC (but never a member).

He then contested as an independent candidate in Tsholotsho, and hoodwinked MDC not to put an MDC candidate against him, and thus became the only independent MP at the time. Once in parliament he somersaulted again and rejoined ZANU. Next election he won the seat under ZANU, became Praise-in-Chief to Mugabe and Grace, got his ministerial post once again. With the fall of Mugabe he made it into exile and once again he is critic-in-chief of ZANU.

Morgan Tsvangirai, a labour activist always had labour solutions to politics- Strikes and Mass Stay-aways

Nelson Chamisa- a lawyer had lawyers' solutions- he has faith in legal systems, until recently when he has faced a brick wall in compromised judiciary, and as a result he has become a rounded politician- instead of fighting for the MDC name ye dribbled past a flat-footed Nzvonyora

ED, the Erectile Dysfunction. Always the spooks solution. Get rid of your enemies anyways you can, whether they be your lover's boyfriend (one big guy now at home for the physically disabled in Masasa can attest), percieved enemies
in Gukurahundi, or political foes (RG Mugabe)... the list is endless

Jenarari. Igaroziva.
Mgagagao... Rex Nhongo... Mugabe...

Mugabe, the consummate politician. I need not go into it. He is the subject for a Doctoral Thesis.

So my friend the background determines the political system of the man

Chiwenga is a politician and his statement is of politics, because politics is the art or science concerned with winning and holding control over a government 🥱 that description alone tells you not to worry about what politicians say.

For now i think need to focus and worry about the real super power Putin's putting the world into shambles 😂 more fire and people in Ukraine need help 🚸 more than those in Zimbabwe...

RTD GEN CHIWENGA (VP) COMMENTS WERE VERY UNFORTUNATE AND GOES ON TO EXPOSE HIS PERSONAL POLITICAL WEAKNESSES WHICH ARE GOING TO AFFECT HIS CAREER AND THE POLITICAL PARTY HE REPRESENT.I TAKE "WE WILL CRUSH THEM LIKE LICE "BANTER AS SATIRICAL AS IT WAS BUT A SHREWD POLITICIAN WOULD NEVER USE THOSE WORDS AS HE WILL BE AWARE THAT THE OPPOSITION WILL USE EVERY GRAIN OF IT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE!
THE KWEKWE VIOLENCE WAS ONE EXAMPLE OF WHEN A LEADER CARELESSLY USE WORDS AND CONSEQUENTLY CAUSE VIOLENCE.
HOW THESE ARE MATTERS THAT CAN BE DEALT INTERNALLY AND I MUST SAY IT IS QUITE DISTURBING FOR BRITAIN TO GO TO PARLIAMENTS TO DISCUSS US AS IF WE SOME SORT OF MONKEYS WHICH NEEDS MANAGEMENT.IT , HOWEVER, BECAUSE SOME OF US RUN TO THEM AND REPORT, MAKING THEM MASTERS.NO WHITE MAN CAN SHAPE OUR DESTINY, THEIR TARGET IS EXPLOITATION AND NOTHING ELSE.
THE DULLEST ZIMBABWEAN WILL ONE WHO CELEBRATES OUR COUNTRY BEING DISCUSSED IN A FOREIGN PARLIAMENT AS IF WE SOME SORT OF A PROVINCE TO THEM.
WAKE UP ZIMBABWE, WAKE AFRICA!
THE REALITY CHECKER IS OUT
