South Africa: MTN Is Buying Telkom

MTN, a South African multinational mobile telecommunications company, operating in many African and Asian countries, has announced plans to buy Telkom SA SOC Limited (Telkom). In a cautionary announcement seen by Pindula News, MTN said discussions with Telkom were underway. Reads the announcement:
