President Mnangagwa Urges Johane Marange Apostolic Sect To Remain United

President Mnangagwa Urges Johane Marange Apostolic Sect To Remain United

President Emmerson Mnangagwa paid a private visit to the late Noah Taguta family on Saturday, for the first time following the death of the apostolic sect leader last month and told the Johane Marange Apostolic church to remain united.

A senior church member and Zanu PF Mutare West MP Teedzayi Muchimwe confirmed the private visit. Said Muchimwe:

President Emmerson Mnangagwa privately visited us, it was a good visit and he met our current leader He is now our leader.

The President also visited St Noah Taguta College and had an inspection of the computers he donated recently and was impressed by the facilities at the college.

The President also said the church should remain united after the death of our leader Taguta and we are going to remain united.

Noah Taguta who died late last month was buried in a cave on Chinyamukumba mountain range.

Mnangagwa’s visit to Marange has been seen by analysts as an appeasement to a ZANU PF stronghold ahead of the 2023 elections.

The Apostolic sect commands a huge following in the country and the late former President Robert Mugabe used to visit the Marange shrine every year during the sect’s annual Passover and this won him many votes.

However, divisions have continued to rock the church with the late Noah Taguta’s brother Clement seeking an interdict barring the church leader from being buried in Chinyamukumba mountain.

@Anonymous, Taguta INSTRUCTED his followers to vote for ZANU ahead of March 26. He also pledged 3 million votes for ZANU in 2023.

This is in total contradiction of the privacy of Voting. My vote is my secret. I don't need Taguta or any of his paedophiles telling me how to vote. Ndipo pandinoshora chipostori.

Rifts at the death of the founder of the church have always occurred in most, if not all, Pentecostal and Apostolic Churches. Their wrangles are usually settled by the High Court, but they still go on to disregard High Court judgements. Already there was a wrangje between Taguta and his brother Clement before Taguta passed on. All in all, His Excellency President ED MNANGAGWA is campaining for the 2023 Harmonised Elections. No matter how much he campains, citizens have made up their minds. They now want real change.

[ VOTE CCC FOR REAL CHANGE ].0
