President Mnangagwa Mourns Nonica Mutsvangwa

President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Thursday sent a condolence message to the Mutsvangwa family following the death of Paidamoyo Nonica Mutsvangwa.

Nonica (10) was a granddaughter to Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa and ZANU PF national spokesperson Chris Mutsvangwa.

Nonica was a learner at Bishoplea Primary School. She was killed in a road accident near Selous on Sunday last week.

She was the first daughter of the Mutsvangwas’ eldest son Neville and his wife Natsai.

In a statement, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Misheck Sibanda said:

On behalf of His Excellency the President, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and the entire Cabinet, Deputy Chief Secretaries, heads of departments, chief directors and staff in the Office of the President and Cabinet, I wish to convey our deepest condolences to the Mutsvangwa family on the tragic and untimely passing on of Paida Nonica Mutsvangwa in a road traffic accident which occurred in Selous on April 10, 2022.

The late Paida is the granddaughter of the ZANU PF Secretary for Information, Cde Chris Mutsvangwa, and the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Honourable Monica Mutsvangwa.

It is particularly painful that a young and intelligent girl in the prime of a potentially bright path in life succumbed to the injuries she sustained in the accident, hardly a week into the school holiday.

Without a doubt, the sad occurrence brought deep sorrow to the entire Mutsvangwa family, friends and relatives as well as the head, staff and learners at Bishoplea Primary School, where Paida was an obedient and diligent pupil.

May the bereaved family draw comfort from the knowledge that we share their grief as we pray that the Lord Almighty grants them the fortitude to remain strong as they bid farewell to a loved one. May Paida’s soul rest in eternal peace.

Paida was laid to rest at Glen Forest Cemetary on Friday.

@Datruth your bigotry is nauseating. Arr you implying that only ZANU people are worth mourning?
Does supporting CCC make one a sellout?
It's disgusting, inhuman and inhumane to say vekwaChamisa havasi vanhu. By so saying, you are suggesting that 46% of the Zimbabwean population who voted for Chamisa are not people.

Even Hitler did not descend to the depths of depravity you are showing. You, DaTruth do not deserve to be called a human being.

El Presidente, de La Coste

You mourned the CIO Team that perished near Regina Coeli;
You mourned the ZCC worshippers who perished near Chimanimani;
You mourned the Mugodhi worshippers...
You mourned the murdered Elvis..., and now
You are mourning Paida Nonica.....

a simple question El Presidente...
Why not the murdered Mboneni Ncube?
