ZANU PF party spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa and his wife, Monica Mutsvangwa who is the Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, are mourning the death of their grandchild.
The power couple’s son, Neville Mutsvangwa, lost his daughter Nonica, after she succumbed to injuries that she suffered in a car accident.
Nonica’s little sister, Nokutenda, survived the accident with no complications.
The Headmaster of Bishoslea Preparatory School, Rick Crook, has since sent his condolence to her parents Neville and Natsai.
Crook’s notice to the Bishopslea family dated 11 April 2022 read:
Dear Bishopslea Family
It is with the heaviest heart and the deepest sadness that I write to inform you of the passing of one of our treasured pupils.
Nonica Mutsvangwa was involved in a car accident last night and tragically did not survive.
Her younger sister Nokutenda, was also in the accident and, as of now, has no complications. This is the most tragic, devastating news for all.
Nonica was one of our shining stars. She exuded character and was loved by all.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences go to her parents, Neville and Natsai, and to all their families, as well as to all Nonica’s friends and to all those who loved her.
Nonica will always hold a special place in many of our hearts.
With heartfelt condolences.
