Murape Relives 2014 Pain, "Betrayal" By Dynamos

Murape Relives 2014 Pain,

Former Dynamos captain Murape Murape says club officials reneged on a promise they had made to him just before he retired from playing football.

Murape was Dynamos captain when the club won its fourth consecutive Premier Soccer League (PSL) title in 2014 and actually scored a goal in his final appearance for the club before he hung his boots three weeks later. He posted on Facebook:

In my last game for Dynamos in 2014, I scored 1 goal as we clinched our 4th consecutive league title.

3 weeks later I was forced to retire from playing football by the incoming technical team and the Dynamos executive chairman then.

They promised me a coaching role within the Dynamos juniors set up but still, they never owned up to their word after all the service and sacrifices I had made for my beloved boyhood club.

Last month, former Dynamos midfielder Chamu Musanhu also accused the club of betrayal.

Speaking in an interview with a local daily publication, Musanhu said before reaching the CAF Champions League final in 1998, the club promised the players “heaven on earth” but reneged on the promises despite achieving the feat. He said:

I think the executive which was there during that time should rate as the most corrupt in the history of the club.

Players were promised heaven on earth. There were a lot of false promises. I think that executive messed everything up for the Glamour Boys.

Imagine, we were made to travel to Malawi by road. We were made to sleep at the airport back in those days when the campaign was still in its infancy.

It was hell all over. But with the results coming, everything started to change for the better. We were actually promised houses in the event we reached the final.

Poor old Murape Murape, stop crying and completely forget about Dynamos FC.....pick yourself up, wipe your "butties" and move on !! Show them there is better life outside Dembare. The betrayal you suffered at the hands of Dembare executive back in 2014 should inspire you to do even better in life. My advice to you Murape is : keep working hard, that's what successful people do; hard work works. There are many opportunities out there that need to be exploited by people like you - even outside football......broaden the horizon man !!

Do you know where the name Machiavelli was derived from? Uribenzi you don't deserve to have that name. For your own information, In primatology, machiavellian intelligence is the capacity of an organism to be in a successful social maneuvering and political engagement with social groups. The first introduction of this concept came from Frans de Waal's book Chimpanzee Politics (1982), which described social maneuvering while explicitly quoting Machiavelli. Siya our true Machiavelli ashandise zita iroro coz akangwara kupfuura iwe
