Motorist Robbed Of Mercedes Benz As He Slowed To Negotiate A Speed Hump

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a robbery case in which a motorist was robbed of a Mercedes Benz on Saturday as he slowed the vehicle to negotiate a speed hump in Harare. Pindula News presents ZRP’s statement on the case.

Police in Harare are investigating a case of robbery which occurred in Southlea Park, Harare near Boka Auction Floors on 06/11/21 at about 1930 hrs, where a motorist was robbed of a Mercedes Benz E22 CDI vehicle registration number AFN 7128.

The victim slowed his vehicle in order to negotiate a speed hump before a male suspect jumped in front of his vehicle in an accident suicidal motion.

Unbeknown to the occurrence, the complainant stopped his vehicle and three other suspects emerged with one of them pointing an unidentified pistol at him.

The suspects took control of the vehicle, tortured the complainant, cut the seat belts and tied the victim before dumping him in Southview Park, Hre.
