According to police statistics road traffic accidents increase during holidays. Interpreting the trend, police say traffic will be high on the road as schools will be closing, industry closing and motorists will be travelling to different parts of the country for various reasons.

Traffic jams trigger frustration and some will start speeding whenever they get the chance thereby increasing chances of accidents.

Police urge motorists to be vigilant to avoid unnecessary loss of life.
