Liquid Telecoms Has Zero-rated UZ E-learning Resources

Liquid Telecoms has partnered with the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) to zero-rate the university’s e-learning resources.

This means that UZ students and staff can now freely access the Library online resources, the University of Zimbabwe e-Learning Management System (UZ e-LMS), University of Zimbabwe website, RemoteXs and eMhare services.

In a notice to students and staff, UZ Acting Registrar, Munyaradzi Madambi said:

In an effort to ensure continued and sustainable advancement of university education under the COVID-19 pandemic, Liquid Telecoms has offered a generous hand of partnership to the University of Zimbabwe students and staff.

In its show of responsible citizenship and all-weather friendship, Liquid Telecoms has zero-rated all the Library online resources, the University of Zimbabwe e-Learning Management System (UZ e-LMS), University of Zimbabwe website, RemoteXs and eMhare services.

The University strongly encourages students and staff to take advantage of this great opportunity and use this facility productively in their studies and research.

We would like to thank Liquid Telecoms for their kind gesture at a time when the cost of data has become a major impediment to University education and research.

All of you are missing the point here.
@Zvimbazi is saying that some words should be censored because the whole tribalism issue has gone too far with not a single day isingashaikwi on this platform.

Obviously to those who're saying you just ignore are used to it because they've been here for a very long time. Some of us have relatives who aren't even on the platform and how can we introduce then here to so much tribalism circulating here?

You should all refer to your views on tribalism on some other platforms sanaWhatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere...not here on Pindula.

Pindula created this platform to give news at free cost because they were sympathetic with all of us facing the hard economy. The comment section was made to give your opinions on the news they deliver to us as the public, kwete zvenyu of making it your own personal playground.

Who made you the spokesperson of pindula . Plz speak for yourself. Don't be out here telling us why pindula made this platform

Chahototo 2 months ago

Pindula created this platform to campaign for CCC, together with their parners in opposition Econet. All stories are against Zanu Pf and pro CCC, don't think they are being sympathetic because you are poor and cant access the internet, it's a campaigning strategy ye CCC,techzim is being paid for this service.

Thank you . please forgive me i know i use vaulgar language a lot , thats me . No to tribalism .Lets be united in Zim

Dear : Pindula Crew

. Please close the comment section as it has led to TRIBALISM. If a Shona person argues in His/Her language Ndebele people feel very offended and vice versa. Please do something, i know that Pindula supports CCC and this Tribalism is going to bury CCC to some extent.

tip: Try to surf shona words and ndebele words but allow ENGLISH ONLY.

Yours

Pindula is more CCC than most of y'all, believe me. Those guys stand for defiance. It is private owned but those ****ers support CCC

Mthembo 2 months ago

Why are you promoting censorship

Anonymous 2 months ago

I don't see any reasons why anyone should feel offended. Tribalism should be a thing of the past, I don't feel offended when someone says something in Ndebele and I don't think any Ndebele speaker should too.

On another note, Pindula is has anything to do with CCC its a Pvt co owned by Techzim
