Kalimbwe's Remarks Show A Great Lack Of Maturity - PAASPCN

The Pan African Association for Socio-Politico Convention Network (PAASPCN) has criticised Joseph Kalimbwe of Zambia and a United National People’s Democratic party secretary for information for critiquing the government of Zimbabwe.

PAASPCN, an organisation that seeks and works to protect the social and political ethos of the Pan African ideas, said Joseph Kalimbwe’s utterances show that he is immature. Said PAASPCN secretary-general Francis Mambo:

The Pan African Association for Socio-Politico Convention Network (PAASPCN), an organisation that seeks and works to protect the social and political ethos of the Pan African ideas, would like to express its profound disappointment and shame on the manner, attitude and misguided recent political utterances over Zimbabwe by one Joseph Kalimbwe of Zambia and a United National People’s Democratic party secretary for information.

The utterances, much as they show a great lack of maturity on the part of Kalimbwe, are and remain divisive, politically malicious, and defy all known inter-state political protocols and etiquette.

He added that Zambia and Zimbabwe have a long history of friendship and good neighbourliness.

In a series of social media postings, Kalimbwe criticised Zimbabwe’s ruling ZANU PF party and the Government of Zimbabwe over many things including maladministration.

Mambo says Kalimbwe has become an external opposition supporter of the Movement for Democratic Change (Alliance) in Zimbabwe, although he has a position in the ruling party in Zambia.

Yaa but if you read carefully the statement by Kalimbwe was all about bad governance, the utterances was a vivid picture of what happened and also witnessed at RGM international airport at the arrival of HE

ZANU of aligned NGOs did not take it lightly that their organisation is being criticised by Kalimbwe. It would have been prudent of this organisation to attack Kalimbwe's central argument as opposed to ad hominem attack on Kalimbwe. He has been criticising Zimbabwean government on issues to do with governance like recently he criticised them for chartering a plane to Glasgow and then take a bloated team of 100 people to the event he also criticised the bussing of people to the airport to welcome Mnangagwa who by the way lied about meeting President Joseph Biden and Prime Minister Joe Biden. Looking at it, Kalimbwe has valid arguments he's exposing stupidity.

Wasn't supposed to criticize says who?....the message must have hit the right spot

Willie Chauke 6 months ago

As a ruling party of Zambia representative,Kalimbwe wasn't supposed to criticize the Zimbabwean government like what is also criticized by Francis Mabo. He is right Francis
