Job Description

As a Young Graduate - Lubes Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the following activities :   

  1. Responsible for day-to-day sales activities to lubricants customers
  2. Prospect for new business
  3. Provide quarterly sales forecast to Specialties Coordinator
  4. Review lubricants prices in line with cost and margin objectives
  5. Makes lubes product recommendations
  6. Visits customers in line with monthly travel schedule with respective Lubes Sales Eng & Key Accounts Managers
  7. Prepare monthly sales reports actual vs budget by customer
  8. Report all customer visits in SALSA
  9. Attends to customer complaints and queries
  10. Follow up slow moving stocks and Lube Warehousing meeting action plans status from respective team players.
  11. Performs credit control functions and follow up on bad debts
  12. Prepare Bus Dev contracts register and alert on DD tracking
  13. Follow up dashboard, flash, DSO and SALSA reports
  14. Performs compliance procedures for Due Diligence for all necessary stakeholders

Zimbabwe is going through time of extraordinary socio-economic and political changes. The scarcity of hard currency is strongly affecting industry and the overall energy market and will remain a challenge for some years

Candidate profile

As a Young Graduate - Lubes Sales Engineer, ideally you will posses the following : 

  • Relevant University Degree in Engineering
