Heading the Warehouse and Logistics Department for a Liquor Retail Shop
Duties And Responsibilities
- Annual plans and budgets for the department
- Receiving, warehousing, checking and reporting on stocks
- Proper documentation and records of received and warehoused stocks
- Processing and dispatching of stocks from the warehouse
- Scheduling and routing of deliveries
- Monitoring and tracking deliveries into and out of the warehouse
- Liaising with Procurement and Customers
Qualifications And Experience
- A Degree in Logistics / Transport Management
- 5 years experience at managerial level in Logistics and Warehousing
- Knowledge of inventory management and controls
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience in the retail industry is an added advantage
- Between 35 and 50 years of age
