Job Description
The following position has arisen within the City of Bulawayo in the Human Capital Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and research on internal and external dynamics impacting the organisation's Strategic plan and crafting recommendations for organisational goals to be realised.
- Lead in the designing of data collection tools and carry out data collection exercises for primary and secondary data.
- Oversee data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality.
- Review operational reports and generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports highlighting progress.
- Review Monitoring indicators to suit operational changes and ensure an airtight end to end Monitoring of processes.
- Undertake periodic review of the implementation and operation of the Monitoring and reporting mechanism; including the preparation of best practices and lessons learned.
- Provide ongoing support on new Monitoring and Evaluation methodologies.
- Co-ordinate and administer staff trainings on Monitoring and Evaluation processes, tools, and database management system functionalities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent.
- Clean Class 4 driver's licence.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
- At least 5 years' experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in a large organisation.
