Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the above vacancy that has arisen in Council 

  • Reporting to the Assistant Executive Officer Finance: 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow up on Council debtors and updating the database
  • Banking Council funds in their respective accounts
  • Debtors Reconciliation
  • Revenue collections
  • Preparation and submission of invoices to rate payers
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Assistant Executive Officer Finance 

Skills

  • Strong communication skills
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Pastel Accounting Package 

Qualifications and Experience

  • National Diploma in Accountancy from a reputable College or Polytechnic
  • At least 1 year relevant experience
