Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the show runs on time, has enough content and work with various staff
- Generate and research ideas for programs, source on air contributors, write and develop scripts, select music for the show and listen on recordings to edit them into stories or segments
- Present programs on-air or manage the presenters for pre-recorded or live broadcast content.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Radio or Media Production, Media Studies, or Mass Communication/Theatre Arts.
- A Master of Arts or Master of Science Degree in a Media related area is an added advantage.
- Experience working for a radio or television station
- A good knowledge of the heritage based Education 5.0
- Excellent written communication organisational and time management skills
- Good leadership skills
- Creative skills;
