ZIMCARE TRUST is inviting suitably qualified, experienced, passionate, and hardworking individuals to apply for the above-mentioned position. The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent basis after having passed a 3 months probation period
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assesses learners needing rehabilitation services
- Develops individual rehabilitation plans;
- Conducts therapy sessions both individual and group treatment as outlined in treatment plans in the areas of ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognitive/perceptual remediation and functional maintenance.
- Documents and maintains leaner’s records that reflect treatment.
- Conducts parental/caregivers’ education and supports the development of home-based treatment plans.
- Facilitates the smooth running of the Rehabilitation Department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Medical Rehabilitation Technician.
- Clinical and Community Based Rehabilitation Experience
- Registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe
- At least three years working experience.
- Current practicing certificate with MRPCZ.
- Good counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Computer literacy skills.
- Analytical and good communication skills
- Drivers licence
