Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel fill the above-mentioned vacant positions which have fallen in the Works Department The incumbent will be reporting to the Director of works
Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan schedule and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines
- Plan organize and direct activities concerned with the project
- Oversee all job quantity reporting, cost-to-cost reporting, job labour budgets, weekly schedules and the scheduling of specific purchase orders of materials
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites
- Assist in the development of a site safety plan and to ensure all jobs and personnel are focused on working safety and efficiently
Qualifications And Experience
- Strictly holder of BSc/B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in Civil / Civil & Water Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe in the field of Civil Structural engineering.
- Should have at least seven (7) years relevant experience in design. construction supervision and project management of civil and structural engineering projects. Of the seven years at least 3 must be at Resident Project engineer level on at least 2 successfully completed projects and also experienced at managing consultations and contractors
- Proficiency in ARCGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Civil designer, Epanet, Microsoft Project
