Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the above vacant post that has arisen within Council.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Sourcing of quotations for procurement of all goods and services Assisting the Procurement Officer in the preparation of bidding documents
  • Expedite orders with suppliers and making follow ups on payments with the Finance Department
  • Typing letters, reports, agendas and minutes of all procurement proceeding
  • Maintaining records of all procurement

Qualifications And Experience

  • Five (5)'0' Levels including English Language and Mathematics
  • A minimum of a National Certificate in Purchasing and Supply and Supply Chain
  • At least one (1) year post qualification experience in Procurement Management
  • Knowledge of Rural Local Authority working environment will be an added advantage
  • Must be computer literate
