Requirements:
- Qualified Medical Doctors (MBChB or equivalent) registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners' Council of Zimbabwe
- Applicants must have completed a suitable internship and be appropriately registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners' Council of Zimbabwe.
- Preference will be accorded to candidates who will have gained at least one year's postgraduate experience in a Provincial, General or District Hospital
Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education [DHPE] - 2 years part-time
Requirements:
- To be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma in HPE, an applicant must normally be expected to hold a health sciences degree.
- The Applicants must have obtained a degree of this or another university of approved standard or have obtained a qualification by written and clinical examination of standard recommended by the Board of Studies for the Diploma in Health Professions Education. Applicants who hold a Health Education and Advanced Leadership for Zimbabwe (HEALZ) certificate will be accorded first preference.

Requirfements: MBChB, BSc Psychology, BSc Health Promotion or other equivalent degree from a recognized institution
Msc Degree in Clinical Pharmacology [MCPH] - 12 months (1 year) full-time
- Applicants must hold either one of the following qualifications: - MBChB Degree, BSc Pharmacology [2.2 or better], 8 Pharm [Hons 2.2 or better] or the equivalent of any of the above.
- Degree Classification of 2.2 OR Better
Masters Degree in Public Health [MPH] - 2 years full-time OR 3 years part-time
Requirfements:
- Full employment with MoH & CC or other recognised employers in the field of Public Health.
- First Degree MBChB or equivalent, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences or any Health Sciences.
- Degree Classification of 2.2 OR Better At least 3 years appropriate work experience in ahealth related field post- qualification.
Masters Degree in Public Health [Health Promotion ] [MPHHP] - 2 years full-time
Requirfements:
- Must have a good BSc Degree in Health Education and Health Promotion or an approved equivalent with relevant qualifications and experience in a health promotion setting.
- Degree Classification of 2.2 OR Better
- Regittered with Allied Health Professions Council of Zimbabwe.
- Must be employed in an appropriate post with actual health promotion responsibilities.
MSc Degree in Biostatistics [MBST] - 24 months (2 years) full-time
Requirfements:
- Possession of a first degree at Upper second or. better) in Statistics, Medicine, Health, Social or Biological Sciences.
- Applicants must have an advanced level (or equivalent) pass in Mathematics
Msc in Medical Microbiology [MMB] - 2 years part-time
Requirfements: Possession of an appropriate honours degree in Medical Microbiology or an equivalent recognized degree
Msc Vaccinology [MVA) - 2 years full-time OR 4 years part-time
Msc Vaccinology [MVAP] - 2 years full-time OR 4 years part-time
Requirfements:
- To be eligible for admission to the Master of Science Degree in Vaccinology, an applicant should normally have an appropriate honours degree or equivalent from this University or a recognized University in one of the following fields: Vaccinology, Molecular Biology, Medical Microbiology, Immunology, Biological Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Veterinary Science, MBChB or equivalent recognized degree. Applicants will normally have a degree class 2.1 or better. However, applicants with a degree class of 2.2 or 3 may be considered if they have relevant experience

Requirfements: Possession of an appropriate Honours degree or equivalent from the University of Zimbabwe or any other recognized Institution in one of the following : Computer Science, Engineering, MBChB, Dental Surgery, Related Health Sciences, Physics or Mathematics. Relevant experience.
MPH Community Paediatrics and Child Public Health [CPCPH] - 2 years part-time
Requirfements: Full employment with MoH & CC or other recognised employers in the field of Public Health. First Degree MBChB or equivalent, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences or any Health Sciences. Degree Classification of 2.2 OR Better At least 3 years appropriate work experience in a health related field post- qualification.
Msc Degree in Physiotherapy [MPT] - 2 years part-time
Requirfements: Minimum of BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy, with a Degree Classification of 2.2 or better. Registered with the Rehabilitation Council of Zimbabwe. At least 2 years clinical experience.
Msc (Medical Science & Medical Physics in Radiation Therapy) [MPO] - 2 years
Requirfements: MBChB Degree or equivalent. Registered with the Medical & Dental Practitioners' Council of Zimbabwe Applicants must have completed a suitable internship and be appropriately registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioner's Council of Zimbabwe Preference will be accorded to candidates who will have gained at least one year's postgraduate experience in a Provincial, General or District Hospital
Msc in Laboratory Haematology and Transfusion [MLHT] - 2 years full-time
Requirfements: Possession of an appropriate honours degree in Medical Technology, or an equivalent recognized degree.
Msc (Health Professions Education) [ MHPE] - 2 years part-time
Requirfements:
- Holders of Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education (PGDip HPE).
- (A PGDip is an added advantage. Students without may be required to attend selected educational courses as appropriate to the topic of their dissertation, depending on their prior knowledge and experience).
- The MScHPE is aimed primarily at academics in medical and health science faculties.
- Candidates who hold a health-related education qualification at degree level also qualify.
Masters in Paediatric Haemato-Oncology [MPHO] - 2 years part-time
Requirfements: Applicants must have completed the M Med Paediatrics degree
MSc Degree in Nursing Science [MNS] - 18 months (11/2 years) full-time OR 36 months (3 years) part-time
Speciality Areas of Study :
a) Maternal and Child Health/Midwifery
b) Medical-Surgical Nursing
c) Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing
Requirfements:
- Must have a BSc Nursing Science Degree OR an equivalent Degree • OR a relevant first Degree with a pass of 22 Degree Classification or better in a related field plus a General Nurse qualification.
- An applicant with other qualifications may be considered but will be required to pass a qualifying examination set by the Department prior to the Senate deciding on their acceptability for admission.
- Must be registered or eligible to register, with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe and possess relevant experience in relation to Specialty area applied for.
