Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules and reviews workload and manpower to en targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and practices.
- Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehc efficiency.
- Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff.
- Establishing and monitoring employee schedules.
- Creating programmes for employees' professional development.
- Establishing objectives for increased output and imprc efficiency.
- Constructing logistics-enhancing solutions.
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Managemer Business Management.
- CILT qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with adeq knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations stra management.
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills.
