Job Description
Supervises open cast mining and people management activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs charging, drilling and blasting frameworks and conducts blasting operations
- Creates safe working environments for equipment and employees
- Maintains mining standards.
- Ensures good equipment handling and utilisation
- Produces production plans, shift rosters and performance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Mining Full blasting licence, valid First Aid Certificate and 10 years experience.
- Competency based qualifications an added advantage.
