This role requires an agile, flexible, and assertive Foreperson with supervisory experience, who will be responsible to make sure that Artisans have clear work expectations, and the role will include:
- Ensuring Safety Health Environmental and Quality compliance in the Section.
- Support the achievement of the section plans.
- Ensure the agreed Asset/Equipment Management strategies and systems remain fully operational and are implemented effectively.
- Ensure good employee relations and effective labour utilization.
- Effective administration of the necessary systems.
- Supervising and monitoring mechanical installations.
- Administration of workshop systems
- National Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical Fitter Trade
- Fitter and Turner / Fitter Machinist
- Class 4 Drivers Licence
- Computer Literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, SAP)
- 5 years’ experience at a supervision level as a Foreperson
- 5 years’ experience practicing as an Artisan
- Experience in the Mining industry
