Job Purpose
The main purpose of the role is to provide product incubation operational support to all new product-lines and bundled products crafted under Enterprise business. The role does this by periodically reviewing software support log(s); track performance and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement to services. The role also provides service management and handover procedures for all leased services to Enterprise business partners/ customers. It also develops and maintains emergency plans to address equipment, power, or security failure to ensure preservation of technology and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulates processes and procedures to be followed in the operations & support of both custom build solution incubation and managed services support
- Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost effective and reduce costs and streamline the process without adversely impacting the client experience
- Evaluates, reviews and ensures security on customer systems & network infrastructure provided internally or out-sourced.
- Ensures Network Links and Services uptimes, QoS and System Monitoring with real-time AnalyticsTracks and Manages Vendor partner escalations and Service Level Agreements.
- Review and recommend designs for Data Centre infrastructure to be provisioned internally or out-sourced.
- Manage preliminary BI analytics and reports on systems performance against revenue lines.Contributes to the negotiation of setting up the contract terms with support systems providers and managed service vendors.
- Ensures audit and insurance compliance through implementing recommended standards
- Conducts research on new technologies for Monitoring & Support tools, Cloud based solutions etc. to aid custom build and service management provisioning.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- 6 O Levels Including Mathematics, Science and English.
- 2 A Level passes
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalentRelevant post graduate or vocational qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a systems and infrastructure support or related environment.
