Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of LUBRICANTS MANAGER based in Harare reporting to the COMMERCIAL MANAGER.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Lubricants Business nationwide.
- Conduct research, analyse market trends and developments in the Lubricants sector; and submit reports on key action points to maintain and grow the business.
- Engage key Lubricants customers through planned visits and cold calls to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Manage the national sales volume targets, growth initiatives, Lubes distributor plans and activations in line with the Annual Business Plan and targets. Monitor national monthly customer volume achievements (B2B & B2C) and distributor performance vs customer target Oversee account management and query resolution to maintain retention levels as per set targets and segmented markets. Check and monitor customer attrition rate and new acquisitions.
Qualifications And Experience
- Degree in Business Management. Sales, and Marketing or equivalent.
- A professional qualification in Marketing is an added advantage.
- Clean Class 4 drivers licence.
- 2-4 Years' Experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or similar environment
- Ability to lead, manage and develop subordinate staff.
- Ability to identify, communicate and implement the agreed business objectives for the relevant unit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and organise short to medium targets.
- Ability to analyse and solve business problems to achieve the correct outcomes.
- Sound business acumen and resourcefulness.
- Ability to interact and achieve targets
