• Faculty Of Social Sciences: Department Of Music Business, Musicology  And Technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing practical lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses.
• Acquiring appropriate teaching materials and resources for musical instrument instruction.
• Instructing students on the theoretical and philosophical aspects music instrument construction, innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Entering and preparing students for examinations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Honours degree in music from a recognized institution with at least a 2.1 pass
• A masters’ degree in music from a recognized institution
• A PhD in Music from a recognized university will be an added advantage.

Competencies

• Music Instrument construction and repairing.
• Innovation and entrepreneurship in music and creative industries business practice.
• Monetization of music brands.
• Understanding of the application of global, regional and local trends in the music creative industry business practices.
