Job Description
An exciting training vacancy has arisen within TIMB and applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft legal opinions.
- Research, interpret and advise on complex and sensitive legal matters.
- Assist in the drafting and reviewing of statutory instruments, legal notices and any other draft legislation.
- Assist in ensuring that TIMB develops, implements and maintains a sound corporate governance framework in line with prevailing legislation.
- Ensure that TIMB's practices comply with relevant legislation and industfy practices.
- Assist in preparing for stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be 25 years old and below.
- Must be a recent graduate holding a Bachelor of Laws honours degree (LLBs). Ability to follow instructions.
- A highly organised, task oriented and analytical character with impeccable interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of maturity and responsibility.
- Trustworthy.
- An eye for detail.
- Critical and analytical skills.
