Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task-oriented individuals to fill the following position that has arisen within the Central Administration Department.
Reports to the Human Capital and Administration Assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation and distribution of agendas, memos, minutes and notices
- Assisting in Human Capital related matters
- Filing of documents
- Assisting in the Council's payroll process
- Updating leave registers
- Performing any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
- University Degree in Human Resources Management, Local Governance Studies or equivalent
- Working experience in a Local Authority or Local Government Environment is an added advantage
- Clean Class 4 driver's license is an added advantage
- Sound computer literacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
