Taking correct measurements and fitting quality end products at minimum cost
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensuring all necessary equipment for fabrication is available and in good working order at all times.
- Carry complete site inspection to include taking of final measurements and coming up with designs accordingly for client’s approval.
- Listing material for projects and maximum use offcuts from previous jobs.
- Ensuring all deadlines are met on all projects.
- Checking that very end-product is of good quality i.e. assembling is done correctly, handles are centralised perfectly, there are no gaps between joints, etc.
- Always dress incorrect uniform, smart, presentable, and have the correct protective clothing at all times.
- Completing time-sheets.
- Completing time cards and quantifying fabrication hours of each and every project. This information MUST be indicated on every job card.
- Attending to any other duties assigned by Management
Qualifications And Experience
- Apprenticeship Class 1 shopfitters Class 2 shopfitters
- At least 2 years experience in shopfitting and aluminium partitioning
