Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above post which has arisen within Mudzi Rural District Council
Reports to the Chief Executive Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Urban infrastructure (water, roads sewerage disposal) design, construction and maintenance
- Preparation and drafting of residential, business centre, rural service centre layouts.
- Preparation of site plans for different land uses.
- Development control
- Preparation of Council development plans
- Roads construction and maintenance
- Certification of Civil works
- Building construction and inspectorate.
Qualifications And Experience
- A Degree in Civil Engineering
- A Masters' degree will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 years post qualification experience in Local Government
- Must be 30 years and above
- Citizen of Zimbabwe
- Clean record of service within the local government fraternity
