Job Summary
The main purpose of the job is to monitor, operate, and maintain data products and services, including but not limited to the enterprise data warehouse, data lake, ETL (extraction, transformation, loading) data pipelines, and artificial intelligence modules in production.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Leads the design, development, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence in monitoring system operations
- Performs descriptive analytics for anomaly detectionFirst line support of the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) process
- Tests, deploys and decommissions machine learning modules
- Supports the Data Analysts to fulfil to create of user manuals for BI Tools for self-service reporting.
- Providing training on BI tools to Data Analysts and Scientists
- Monitors and reviews the AI modules for expected performance and results
- Creates and maintains data alarms dashboard
- Monitors data feeds consistency
- Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented
Qualification And Experience
- 6 O Levels Including Mathematics, Science and English.
- 2 A Level passes
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Experience in Python, R/ any object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
- Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
- Ability to use BI tools such as PowerBI and Qlik2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.
- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to co workers
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
