Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above mentioned position which has become vacant in the Town Clerk's Office

DEPARTMENT : TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE

REPORTING TO : TOWN CLERK

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Carrying out surveys, research and consultations in order to write a local economic development strategy;
  • Creating an action plan in order to implement the economic development strategy and monitoring its progress;
  • Seeking opportunities for external funding and making bids;
  • Managing economic development projects and regeneration schemes;
  • Working closely in partnership with other organizations

Qualifications And Experience

A successful candidate should have the following qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Economics or Business Management
  • Master's degree is an added advantage
  • At least 3 years working experience
  • No criminal record
