The Law Society of Zimbabwe is a Statutory, self-regulating, body established in terms of the Legal Practitioners Act (Chapter 27:07). The Law Society regulates the legal profession in Zimbabwe. It also represents the legal profession. The Law Society is run by an elected council of registered legal practitioners practicing across the country. The council is assisted by an appointed Secretariat based in both Harare and Bulawayo.
The Law Society of Zimbabwe is a professional body whose secretariat has undergone some expansion in the period since 2018.
As such, there are new positions that require to undergo job evaluation in light of the practical experience garnered in the period since the positions were introduced.
Description and expectations The Law Society of Zimbabwe is calling upon consulting firms with relevant experience to submit bids to undertake the above assignment.
The consulting firm will be expected to do the following:
- Review the organization’s structure;
- Review the new positions and grade them;
- Carry out a salary survey and recommend a salary structure;
