Job Summary

The incumbent will report to the Corporate Communications Manager and will be responsible for the following, among other duties: -

Responsibilities

  • Advertising Zimpost products on national events and all social networks.
  • Monitors the Zimpost website and updates it fortnightly in liaison with the IT department.
  • Organizes all corporate functions and exhibitions such as promoting social responsibility programmes that portray Zimpost as a socially responsible organisation.
  • Drafts press releases, transmits official statements and information as delegated by the Corporate Communications Manager.
  • Digital and physical publications
  • Organises public relations related events, exhibitions and functions for the organisation.
  • Provides input to Corporate Communications Manager for budget preparation.
  • Attends to inquiries raised by the Zimpost stakeholders

Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree in Media and Public Relations or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Flexibility, determination and ability to cope under pressure
  • Computer literate
