Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above post that have arisen in the University.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpretation of working drawings;
• Construction work: brick and block laying, plastering and tiling;
• Adhering to building by-laws in all construction work;
• Building renovations;
• Maintenance of buildings and
• Any related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must have at least 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or better and a Journeyman Class One (1) Certificate in Brick and Block Laying and/or a Diploma in Brick and Block Laying.
• Applicants should have at least five years’ experience in the area of building.
