Primary Purpose of the Job
The role is responsible for providing professional Photography and Videography services to Higherlife Foundation. The incumbent will work as part of a creative team to deliver on filming and editing picture & video content
Key Responsibilities
- Captures pictures of HLF events in line with a communications strategy for editing and storytelling purposes.
- Records videos of HLF events in line with a communication strategy for editing and storytelling purposes.
- Develops scripts for photography and videography activities within the organisation.
- Trains SBU staff on HLF photography and videography standards and requirements.
- Briefs of SBU staff and hired professional photographers on the style of photography according to the HLF Brand Manual.
- Maintains a centralized photo databaseArchives and stores HLF photographs and videos professionally for easy access according to the communications strategy.
- Reviews all photographs and videos captured by external service providers in line with HLF’s communications strategy.
- Provides photographs and videos to Digital Marketing Manager for social media posts as per the brief.
- Provides photographs and videos to Marketing and Communications team members for use in communications such as newsletters, brochures and posters as per the brief.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Degree in Creative Arts, Film, Communications or relevant qualification
- Software Knowledge – Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Encoder); Final Cut/Davinci Resolve
- Highly skilled in motion design.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Ability to work under limited supervision
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Energetic individual who can work in a fast-paced, dynamic and performance-driven environment.
- Graphic Design; Social media management; Photography / Videography; Web Design are added advantages
