Job Summary
The position of a Child Mentor exists to promote the Spiritual Ministry of CURE Children’s Hospital of Zimbabwe. This responsibility entails creating and maintaining a child friendly environment for both caregivers and children.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Counselling of children
- Praying with the children
- Forming mentoring relationships with the children
- Creating a child friendly environment for the children and caregivers
- Reading and narrating Bible stories.
- Creating and maintaining a safe, clean environment for the children.
- Promote a Christian culture within the playroom and playground through videos, movies, games and songs
- Be able to share the gospel with the children using materials that appeal to them
- Compilation of weekly and monthly reports.
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Education a must
- Diploma in Christian Ministry
- Fluent in English , Shona and Ndebele a must
- At least 3 years experience in teaching position.
