Job Description
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Builder to join our team in the Service Centre Section. You wilt participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site supervisor. Your main responsibilities as the Builder will include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing materials and tools to be used during the building process.
- Submitting building plans to the appropriate authorities for approval.
- Consulting blueprints and erecting structures according to plans.
- Documenting all work, repairs, and adjustments according to protocol.
- Fixing or reporting any safety hazards before continuing work.
- Working with vendors, such as ,electricians or plumbers, to ensure that they understand their role.
- Keeping track of inventory and financials while building.
- Preparing materials and tools to be used during the building process.
- Building residential, commercial and industrial constructions and carry out road works - in stone, brick, reinforced concrete, including pre-cast and prefabricated structures.
- Laying piping and ducting.
- Soundproofing and insulation work.
- Carrying out finishing work on buildings.
- Demolition and excavation work.
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding.
Qualifications and Experience
- Class 2 trade test in bricklaying.
- 2 years relevant experience and traceable references of past projects.
- Plumbing and Roofing experience is an added advantage.
- Be a team player.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
