Job Description

Prepares monthly and weekly activity plans for review by Senior Associate.Reconciliation of SBU expenditure and distributions.Conducts stakeholder engagements, mapping, and training in assigned districts.Attends stakeholder meetings and presents quarterly reports as assigned by Senior Associate SBU.Participates in internal & external program assessments in partnership with the Monitoring and Evaluation function.Conducts coaching and mentoring of beneficiaries and identification of need areas and arranges for necessary action.Ensures adherence to HLF procedure manuals to achieve systems compliance.Supports and implements activities in the SBU guided by our strategic pillars in Education, Global Health, and Rural Transformation Sustainable Livelihoods.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect GPS data across different projects.
  • Create database for Geospatial data.
  • Conduct data analysis and produce fit for purpose Maps and synthesis.
  • Drive internal awareness on GIS across teams.
  • Support internal and external reporting obligationsResearch and share new emerging knowledge on harnessing power of GIS in social development work.
  • Participate in relevant symposia, conferences aligned to the areas of strategic focus to add value to the strategic focus of Delta/HLFLiaison role with specific government departments especially ZIMSTAT for macro-level geospatial data,
  • Support production of articles, white papers and opinion pieces for publishing in reputable platforms.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Business Studies, or equivalent.
  • Good communication, report writing, financial analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Packages and knowledge of SPSS and Tableau an added advantage.
  • Must have a working knowledge of online training or learning management systems.
  • A clean Class 4 Drivers license is an added advantage.
  • Fluency in Shona, Ndebele, and English.

Required skills

  • Good communication, report writing, financial analysis and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Packages and knowledge of SPSS and Tableau an added advantage.
