Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Relationship Manager X1, Corporate and Institutional Banking that has arisen within the Corporate and Wholesale Banking Division, CBZ Bank Limited.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and cautiously grow a quality advances portfolio.
- Gather all credit information on all applications, assess and submit to Credit Origination and Administration.
- Prepare Account plans to enable ecosystem banking.
- Monitor facility utilization and ensure that maturities are timeously advised to clients.
- Create and keep up to date customer database (borrowing and non-borrowing Accounts).
- Track deposit covenants on borrowing accounts to ensure compliance.
- Conduct business development initiatives and cross sell the bank’s products.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting or similar from a recognized and reputable tertiary institution.
- Possession of a post graduate qualification such as IOBZ, ACCA, CIMA or similar will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 years’ Banking experience in a related function is essential.
- Be self-motivated with a drive to positively contribute to the profitability of the Department
- Extensive knowledge and skills in credit administration will be an added advantage.
