Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position which has arisen within Sanyati Rural District Council.

ACCOUNTS CLERKS X 2 GRADE 6 (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5'0' levels including English and Mathematics
  • A degree or HND in Finance or Accounting from a recognised institution.
  • At least one year working expenence.
  • Expenence in a Local Government environment is desirable 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assists in the preparation of annual and penodic financial statements
  • Assist in debt recovery and control
  • Data capturing on electronic and manual accounting systems
  • Assist in compilation of bank reconciliation statements
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
